Holistic therapy for dogs and horses
The view of the whole
Our body, as well as that of our four-legged friends, operates as a connected system. The various structures and units of the organism influence each other and communicate continuously. If just one of the countless cogs in the body is blocked or not functioning smoothly, the following gears in their function are disrupted, and the system can no longer work optimally. Nevertheless, our body always tries to function as best as possible and compensate for disrupted processes with the help of healthy structures. However, this otherwise very intelligent mechanism can lead to overloads and imbalances. Movement patterns change, and statics and dynamics are affected.
To reduce pain, optimize movements, and restore the body's balance, it is necessary to have a holistic view of the whole animal - with all its muscles, joints, organs, fasciae, and not forgetting the nervous system. Understanding the causes of issues and creating a meaningful treatment plan with this knowledge are the goals of my work. In addition to manual therapies of physiotherapy and osteopathy, this includes also Dry Needling and kinesiological taping. For long-term therapy success, I also create training plans or support you and your animal in active training.
